Water vehicles have long been standard on American road construction sites to minimize dust pollution. In Germany, too, official requirements for dust control are becoming increasingly stringent. The off-road solution comes from Bergmann: the brand-new Bergmann Water Cart. With an impressive capacity of 12,000 litres, this compact machine can be used for a wide range of applications in irrigation, dust control, vegetation firefighting, and fire prevention.
Since the beginning of the year, the tried and tested Bergmann C815 has also been available in a water tank version. The specially developed water tank blends seamlessly into the design of the machine and significantly extends the range of applications. The optionally available front extinguishing monitor of the Bergmann Water Cart impresses with a flow rate of 2,000 litres per minute. The joystick-controlled front cannon is located directly in the operator's field of vision, enabling precise work. The four hydraulically adjustable spray heads on the sides of the tank can be controlled individually via an ergonomic control panel. Other important functions, such as water flow and throw distance, can be conveniently regulated from the driver's seat. This ensures that watering can be optimally adapted to the conditions on the construction site to reduce or even eliminate dust emissions caused by construction site traffic. All technical components are compactly arranged and easily accessible at the rear of the tank unit. These include a 30-meter hose line for various tasks, a reversing camera, and a suction connection for self-filling from rivers or lakes.
When it comes to equipping the Bergmann Water Cart, Bergmann offers its customers maximum flexibility and many design options. The components of the Water Cart can be individually assembled, arranged, and equipped by the customer. One highlight is the quick-change system, which allows the Water Cart to be configured for different construction site requirements. In addition to various tank versions, the machine can also be quickly converted into a construction site dumper with an 8m³ earth trough or a loading platform to handle material transportation.
