THE NEW BENCHMARK FOR FLEXIBILITY
BOMAG’s FLEXMIX system makes it possible to optimally adjust the milling performance and mixing level of the different soils on site. Thanks to continuous improvements in the quick-change tool holders and their arrangement on the rotors, the working speed, and service life have also further increased. And all this with an even better mixing result.
UNIQUE TO BOMAG
The FLEXMIX system features three continuously variable flaps on the rotor hood. In addition to the usual configuration options on the market, BOMAG counts on an additional mixing and grinding flap in the rotor cover. Milling material as required strikes the mixing bar and is crushed to the selected target size. Any desired result can be achieved easily and safely through the stepless adjustment of all three flaps. Whether maximum mixing performance or highest quality is required, BOMAG FLEXMIX technology always has the right setting.
CONFINED WORK
Flexmix machines are also capable of producing efficient results in more confined environments. Thanks to Flexmix, the machine’s crushing and mixing abilities are equally as good on a forward or reverse pass. BOMAG has made it easy for the operator in this scenario, too. The seat can turn to suit the direction of travel but handily, all travel lever functions are maintained as they were, with right remaining right and left remaining left.
When working on sloping ground, the milling and mixing rotor can be moved over the wheel edge on the left and right side, so that the drive wheels remain on more solid terrain. The Side Shift mechanism provides added usability on difficult job sites, with the ability to extend 30cm on either side the machine can get right up to the edge of the ground being worked without risking clipping obstacles.
